Economics of Globalization and European Integration/Erasmus Mundus

Admission Criteria and Enrolment Procecedure

The programme is open to students who have earned 240 ECTS credits in an economics or applied economics university study programme, or who have a bachelor’s degree considered equivalent by the Joint Studies Board.
Applicants enrolled in the final year of their academic programme should submit an official letter in English from their university confirming that they are expected to finalise their course at the end of the current academic year, and submit up-to-date authenticated transcripts of results for each year of study.
The proficiency in English of students who have studied at one of the partner universities is checked by the local academic coordinator. Students from other universities should submit proof of an internet-based TOEFL level of minimum 90 (or its equivalent in another TOEFL score system), or an IELTS grade of at least 6.5, or submit proof of having studied at least one academic year in an
English-language programme.
The selection criteria are common to all students and primarily relate to study results.
All candidates must complete and submit the on-line application form. The application deadline is 15 June 2016. For those who want to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship the deadline is 31 December 2015.

Financial Aspects

The tuition fee is 3,600 euros for European students and 9,000 euros for non-European students.
Two types of Erasmus Mundus (EM) student scholarships are available. Non-European students can apply for a ‘Partner country’ EM scholarship, while European students can apply for a ‘Programme country’ EM scholarship. For more information, please consult the Erasmus + pages. European students may be eligible for an Erasmus Student Mobility grant.
Non-scholarship students enrol at one of the partner universities. EM scholarship students must enrol at Universiteit Antwerpen.
A limited number of tuition discounts are available for non-scholarship students from developing countries on the basis of academic merit. For more information, please consult the EGEI website.
In addition to tuition fees, students should also budget for travel, accommodation, food and study materials.
